With plagiarism analysis performed, users receive detailed report.
Each of the original sources found is provided with percentage of matches to help you understand which one needs citing
On the left, there's a document with highlighted text areas, which were copy-pasted word by word from a number of external sources.
On the right, you can find a menu with originality and similarity indicators, a list of clickable sources used without attribution, history of all your previous checks and the "Exclude" tab for all the sources you omit from the search.
To see where each piece of the checked text was taken from, click through highlighted areas or source links.
One more option available for you is to view duplications on an original source. When clicking a source link, you will be redirected to the original source. It's easy to define what passage or sentence was lifted, since it's flagged too.
Find exact plagiarized piece on the original source web page with just one click
lick the "Show Plagiarized Sections" option to go straight to the copied text parts without scrolling up and down in the search of exact matches.
In the list with sources, next to the "View Original Source" button, there's a cross icon allowing you to omit the sources found. Use it when you want to exclude a source from the list. All omitted sources appear below the list with active sources. If you need to include all them back into the source list again, tick the checkbox next to each source. Percentage is recalculated whenever you make changes, so that you won't have to perform checking again and again.
One more thing influencing originality percentage is references. All the references are flagged as unoriginal. Consequently, plagiarism percentage becomes higher. Click the "Exclude" button above the source list to unmark references. After it is done, percentage is immediately recalculated. Since this function has been recently launched, for now you can test it in the "Beta" version. Though, its functionality will be made available shortly.
As for plagiarism reports, you can download them in .pdf with detailed information about the document you scanned: Checking type used, similarity and originality rate, number of sources with content matches, a list of omitted sources and links to original sources. With a possibility to switch off the "Sharing Files" option in your personal profile settings, you can forbid Unplag to store your newly uploaded documents in its database.
As an individual user, you can also share reports right from your account by typing in as many emails as you need and let others see your plagiarism check results.
